Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.
-Soren Kierkegaard
Hello Everyone!
Over the last several years I have taken the time to refine my skills and experiences, so as to bring them to an apex point in my future. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and I've been doing it since I was a young boy on the outskirt suburbs of Philly.
To understand my voice and how I love to portray my photography it helps to understand my influences. Photographers like Paul Nicklen, Jimmy Chin, Andreas Gursky, and Shaaz Jung inspire me to capture the greatness and beauty of our already growing world. And legends like Margaret Bourke-White, and Dorothea Lange have kept me grounded in a mindset that it does not take a software like photoshop to develop inspiring, and jaw-dropping photos.
When I shoot photos my primary goal is to tell a story. A photo should be a brilliant composition of subject, balance, and emotion. Viewers should be moved, whether that be through inspiration, joy, or even anger, and disturbance. Since the creation of the still photo, cameras have captured some of the most stunning moments in history from the battlefields of the Civil War to the Astronauts walking on the moon. In keeping the defining spirit of photography alive I have made it a mission to dedicate my life to capturing similar moments. Hoping these same moments will skyrocket in the logs of history for future generations to look back upon and ponder humanity's greatest triumphs, and failures.
My style revolves around natural, dynamic realism while capturing the beauty, the moment, and the emotion all in one shot.
